At the Cape Fear Civil War Round Table, we are a lively mix of history buffs, scholars, and curious minds brought together by a shared passion for the Civil War and Reconstruction era (1815–1877). We are a volunteer-run, nonpartisan group where everyone is welcome: whether you are a seasoned expert or just getting started. Each month, we host dynamic guest speakers who bring the era’s military, political, social, and cultural stories to life.
